Well I built a 5e3 out of my Zenith chassis and it works great. He wants to make that amp at AX that is that california one out of it. I told him that he would need a new OT as I am surmising that the OT's used on this chassis are single ended right? I went with a preloaded board and it was a pretty easy build.

Yes, if he wants a push-pull amplifier and new output tranny would be best, but...
I was looking closer at the schematic you posted and it looks to me that when the internal speakers are being used the amps are operating in parallel with the outputs tied together to drive the speakers (in essence, mono). by inverting the phase of one of the transformers, the output tubes could be run push-pull using the two transformers. Something like this...
