Hey im taking an electronics engineering course at college and i'm really interested in it. I play guitar as a hobby so i thought why not try and build a guitar amp because as a student i can't afford the astronomical prices companies charge. I'm sorry if there's already a thread about this but i was wondering if anyone could post links to easy projects, the amp doesn't have to be loud since i live in a townhouse, thanks for your help.

Lots of reasonably priced projects here.
AX84 Proven designs, Great documentation and a fairly well rounded forum with members that both use and designed the projects listed. They also have links and are very helpful at locating correct parts. Trout |

Thanks, i've decided on the P-1, seems simple enough with the upgrade of them doing the chasis and putting the major components on it

start building an aresenal of parts. garbage pick stuff, buy from surplus stores, etc. eventually you'll have enough parts that you can start doing DIY for free... |
