Hello, just asking an easy one here...does the attatched wiring diagram look ok, or can the ground from the pups go straight to the volume pot? it would make it a lot neater. Also this is kinda random, but this guitar (takamine gx 100t) came with a master volume, master tone knob and a pup selector, are the tone and volume pots usually the same type? I was wondering if I could use the old tone pot to make another volume pot (so I can have indie volumes) 2nd pic
thanks

I'd be glad to help, if I just felt you made an effort yourself in providing a comprehensible schematic. Those schetches could've been drawn by my 6-year old daughter.
Are the pots of the same type, you ask. There's always some kind of text describing them printed or stamped. Something like "100kA" or "50kB". 100kA means 100 kiloohms linear, 50kB means 50 kiloohms logarithmic. If they carry the same codíng, they're equal. It's that simple. Rune
