Just for Fun... My JCM800 modified schematic:
http://jeanpaul.mallet.free.fr/images/JPM800.gif The "Low" input jack is removed and replaced by the new preamp pot. If you need clean sound, just forget it :-) As usual, tube amps contain high voltage and high voltage can kill ! Cheers. |

If you`re a gainiac like me, I would also propose a much higher values for cathode caps. that somewhat raises gain of that stage ond adds more treble to make the distortion limit even more...
