I found this JCM800 emulator stomp box schematic on the web and was wondering if someone could offer some advice on converting it to use a +-15V supply? It says the author is "Electric" but searching for that and "JCM800 Emulator" that on the net let me no where.
Also if you know who the author is and know his web site if he still has one can you point me to it? Thanks! |

Hi,
The design needs a very stable supply to work, i.e. a battery, as its inherent ripple rejection is very poor. Any particular reason you want a 15-0-15 V supply ? |

Sounds like since the circuit might be a bit unstable, I may look further for something else. Maybe the Guitar preamp on ESP.
