Hello everyone, i've been searching for ages for a noise reduction project. I can't seem to find any. I don't mean a noise gate, i have one of those. I'm looking for a project like an old DBX or dolby noise reduction schematic to get rid of hissing and other annoyances in realtime. The simpler the better, as i have never had anything to do with noise reduction before.
Thanks In Advance |

I have just found out that older more (DIYable) DBX & Dolby systems do not work in realtime. DBX have a new range of equalizers out with realtime noise reduction, but the circuit would probably be too complex to build. I came across "Hush" effects by "rocktron" (i think that's correct). if anyone could find an older model schematic that would be great.
Thanks

Hi
This might do it for ya if you can track down the chip. They're still available here in Aus. http://www.national.com/pf/LM/LM1894.html Cheers Rob |
