Does it matter on whitch side the port is placed on say a 4x10" for bass-guitar?
Can it be on the back? I know that Aguiliar and others use this setup, but mabe some special calculations have to be made to not have phase cancellation? |

I don't think it really matters much for the design, although a rear facing port is sending more sound rearwards than a front facing one.
