Default Speaker questions for a Silvertone 1472

Just a question as I could find out when the time comes with my meter but I would like to know now with out disconecting anything to get a reading. What ohm speaker did the 1472's and I suppose 1482's use? I plan on building a pine cabinet for my amp a 1472 and plan on replacing the speaker with a better quality speaker. I have heard some say it is a 4 ohm speaker on a 8 ohm tap others have said 8 ohm speaker. Others have said the output trannie has a center tap so you can choose between 4 or 8? If so on my trannie the wires are wired to the center tap and the outside tap away from the speaker. Any insight on this?

Nevermind I found out it is a 3.2 ohm tap so I will need a 4 ohm speaker.
