need suggestion on graphic eq for bass

hi , i just found boss ge7 ( 7 bands graphic eq for guitar ) i wanna use it for my bass , and i need to change the frqs to these :

40-120-400-500-800-4k-10k

so how can i change the caps to give me these freqs ?

Hi,

as bass is tuned an octave below a guitar the simplest
thing to do is double the value of all the capacitors used
for EQ. You also need to double any coupling capacitors.

and which one s couplin cap ?

There seems no point in changing it at all?, why not just buy a bass one?, check the new (very cheap!) Behringer pedal Here.

cuz i cant find any bass effetct pedal here ... unfortunately ...
u can find any guitar effect , anything u want bout guitar ... but lack of bass stuffs , ...

Hmm.....

asking this question perhaps you should just buy a cheap pedal,
its a lot easier, and it will work.
I suspect the results of your efforts might be a very dead pedal.

But you can safely ~ double every capacitor in the top half of the circuit.
(except the the low noise mod capacitor)

You can reuse most capacitors somewhere else e.g. C8 becomes C14.
