I found this shcematic on the web.
Can it be used for electric guitar or bass with good results? if so where is the negative of the 9v battery connected? |

The schematic you have shown has a low input impedence, of about 1k. It is unsuitable for guitars but great for moving coil microphones, which is its intended purpose.
For guitars you need a high input impedence and less gain. Look for a non - inverting opamp circuit and you will probably be able to modify it to suit. The battery negative goes to ground, pin 4 of the opamp. It isn't always shown because everyone knows where it goes. Hope this helps. |

How bout some help with this one? Could someone give me a parts list for this? And maybe a short giude to soldering it up? |
