I landed a job at a place that distributes all kinds of ferrite stuff. beads and torroids and such. i wonder if i can put some beads in my tone circuit instead of lining the whole thing with foil and not mess up the sound?

The foil lining is for hum (50Hz/60Hz/100Hz/120Hz) suppression.

Radio suppression should be built into your amplifier.
