Hi all,
I haven't touched electronic circuitry in over 10 years so am really a noob all over again. I certainly can't remember anything about designing circuits an such. What I am after is to build a very cheap (read CHEAP) preamp for a guitar pickup (acoustic peizo and single coil) and a mic to boost the signal suitable for PC recording. I'm just messing with ideas at the moment and money is very tight. I have read a little about op amps and JFET amps (tubes are a little excessive at this stage I would have thought) in these pages, but what are the differences? Any information welcome. Chris |
