Hi,
Auditioning (used gear) is always good, you know what your getting. Regarding bass 15"ers vs PA 15"ers the former kick **** at the top end for a single 15" bass cab, but the latter are better for mixing together multiple cabinets, I swapped a Marshall 15" that dominated my 4x10" for a more prosaic 15" driver that let the two work together. rgds, sreten.
