Hi
I built madamp g2 kit when I started out soldering years Ago I never use it anymore, and have built much better amps since It is based on a 6n2p-ev as preamp tube, and a 6n1p-ev as power tube It is single ended of course, and produces 2 watts. Could this be used as a platform for building a reverb unit, driving a spring tank... Something like the old fender reverb Unit... I know this is more powerfull, but some reverb cirquits are driven by a single 12ax7, right? |

Fender is using 6V6's in their standalone reverb.

OT but I'm curious. Did you like the G2? Is it worth the effort? I'm looking for a reasonably decent tube amp kit for home practice and recording.
