Interesting, the bass side isn't picked up at all by my treble side microphone unit thing :S

I have not worked with mics in a closed space like this (pix in post #7), but I see 2 possible problems:
Is the WM61 capsule, even after mods, able to handle the SPL, which propably >120dBSPL The spacing of the 3 mics in the treble keyboard side invites for serious lobing, and discolouration of the sound. The least I would do is test the setup with switcheable microphones, replacing the switched-off mic with a load to maintain the same level to do a compare. E |
