"Each pair sees 8K", so parallel pairs see 2 lots of 8K in parallel, that is 4K.

You can see that Super Reverb replacement on this list clearly shows 4K Raa.

Note the bassman replacement is 4200 Ohms Raa. That would suit either 4 off 6V6 or a pair of 6L6. You could easily build an amp which would do both options, just plug in a pair of 6L6 or plug in 2 pairs of 6V6.

Hi Ian. The Hammond replacement has multiple secondary taps to keep the primary at 4k. The original was 4k primary at 2-ohm speaker load, so I guess that puts it at 16k with an 8-ohm load. I knew something didn't seem right with my math vs. what I remembered from design time.
