I've just bought (cheaply) one of these but it wont come on! I knew this when I bought it and thought I might have a crack at repairing it BUT the damn thing is proving difficult to access....can anyone give me some advice about how to remove the amp section please. Also, having changed the obvious plug fuse, my next step was to examine the slo-blo fuse....but where do I find it??????? Any and all help is appreciated.

The control and pre-amp section is built on the front panel - and the power supply and power amplifier is built on the rear panel.
Each is secured with 2 screws on the cabinet side panels (2 each side). The mains slow blow fuse is integral with the IEC mains inlet connector - in a small drawer that can be levered out with a small screwdriver. These are very straight forward amplifiers to work on - and suffer from a few 'standard' faults that are easy to find and fix. So check the FX insert jack sockets - dirty switch contacts on these jacks will interrupt the signal, intermittently or permanently. Look at the bridge rectifier - solder joints can be broken - and short circuit failures can also occur. Output transistors can fail - as with any power amplifier of course.
