Hello Everyone,
I am trying to fix a Carvin MB10 bass amp for a friend. The amp has been smoking when it is turned on. I opened the unit up and found the part that is smoking but I can not for the life of me find and documentation on the part, to either order a new one or determine a suitable replacement. The board number for the PCB is 30-45300 Revision D and the spot on the board is numbered D23. The markings on the component are NF028G U280. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you, Joey Edit: I should also add that the part starts to emit a high pitched whine once the unit warms up. Last edited by jw721; 11th January 2012 at 04:48 PM. |
