Actually, wire size is about current, not voltage, and the heaters are the highest current draw in the amp. I normally expect the 6VAC winding to be the heaviest wire.

Exactly, the thickest wire is going to be the heater ones, as that's the highest current - as shown by the thickness of the windings on the transformer.

Looks like someone tried stiffen it up by dumping the tube rectifier and a XLR for the power cord?? B+ is really high (500v??) for a Fender Super which is normally about 450v.

I think that may have been 500 VDC without power tubes installed. With new tubes and 3 hrs running time it settled down to a typical 460 V. With some older style XLR-type proprietary 250 VAC connector.
