i need some help, i am working on my sound, i play alot of metalcore like asking alexandrias type of music, i need some suggestions on a relatively inexpensive speaker i should put in my cab. i have a randall 4x12" cab. someone throw down some suggestions PLEASE!!!

This sounds to me like it should be over in the musical instruments section.
What's the instrument? Guitar? Bass? Something totally different?

Try the WGS Retro 30. Very similar to the Celestion Vintage 30, but with a better balance through the top end. If you down-tune much, you could mix them with a pair of Reaper 55s for a really solid bottom.

For the style you play, I'd suggest a mix of two Eminence Wizards with two Eminence Swamp Thangs. You'll end up with a lot of thump, a bit of the "British" thing, and a crisp singing high end. Very modern, high powered sound combo. Not high dollar.

I like Emi V12s in a 4x12. But right now I am using a celestion seventy 80 in a closed back 1x12 with good results.
