Whoa! That thing looks awesome. I've never heard a vielle before, had to wikipedia it...to me it looks more like a hurdy gurdy, not to be a fuss budget or anything. Is there anywhere on this site that members can post audio clips of their builds? I'd love to here it.

here are my guitars and bass there all hand-build by me. the amp i am still on it. these guitars were not build using conventional materials and construction methods.

I am building a modular synth, It is working, but still missing some stuff.
the modules are bout 25% bought 50% built from bought bare PCBs and 25% completely DIY.

I know the picture quality's not great (iPod camera), but there's my 4x10" cabinet + head.

I used a 4x8" cabinet and chiselled out in front of the speakers where needed so they'd have room to move. Sealed box, biamped so the vertical pairs are in parallel, each side plugged into an amplifier channel on the head.
Using one side for an iPod occasionally (dual channel amp, each with a seperate fx loop) to play along to.
