Hello,
I have a question. If I design a DI box with balanced floating outputs, in where none of the outputs refer to ground, Will I have trouble if this DI box will be connected to a phantom powered +48V XLR input? My theorie is, as long the pin1 ground is not connected there is no reference to the phantom ground and the 48volt won't be seen. Any thoughts? With kind regards, Bas Last edited by Sebastiaan; 3rd March 2010 at 01:55 AM. |

However, active DI's don't have problems with DI's either, and many can take their power from it.
