modular midbass horn coming along ok
hope to test it soon
funny..they sound quite good connected to my 'hifi' playing music
for bass guitar...they still need to be part of a 3way
and that was expected, since it was the actual goal
I had a modest hope that maybe...but no freebies this time
it will probably do duty in my next 3way hifi stereo speaker
Should be pretty exciting to listen to. Got any response and distortion curves yet?
especially interested in what happens with a 5-string bass... distortion?
-RNM
now tested
moves too much
needs a high pass filter
but I may be able to support a guitarist

crossover update
added zobel to woofer inductor
and it now needs reversed polarity on midrange, instead of woofer(with no zobel)
and its also now much better mounted, on special 'magic wood'
seems to work
note two the different kinds of wood
could be important
its now fully 'standard' passive
and Im using just one channel amp/mono

Do you want to add a flow-resistance ...
yes, that was my intention
at first I planned to use a drilled back plate, mounted with felt
would make changes easy
but now I consider using the corner bracing, and 'handle holes'
yesterday I was lucky to find a cheap front grill
