hello Marsh
happy new year

you could just make a closed box of minimum 100 liter(netto)
adding driver and bracing...I would say around 130 liter closed
and maybe considerer making it apperiodic

but you do realise we are in 'instruments and amps' ?

ahh.. 5 string ?

regarding distortion ? you mean if it will exceed Xmax easily ? well, I dont think so
with the small closed backchamber and apperiodic venting, I expect it will stay well controlled, but with a sound I would call 'rich and tuneful'
but not fully tested yet
been busy with my other previous speaker project
just got hold of some more xo parts, and made a very succesful crossover change, and its really good now
but still more work to do on that one too

btw, is that you in the picture ? wow, you look like a real gentleman
