trying to do a perectly alligned adapter plate
holes for the CD is percision work

alu ring is for the allignment to horn throat

I seriously think you're just imagining it - I bet you couldn't tell any difference on double-blind tests.

Why do you even want a tweeter for a bass guitar anyway?.

actually, its not accurate enough
but still good to have
did some adjustment after the fix-plate was mounted
once thats in place, nothing moves one bit any more

now looking like this
but I expect it to make sound very soon

Wrong tweeter phase can cause quite a deep hole in the frequency response which can even sound harsh - believe it or not. And yes - modern bass sound profits from tweeters.
