Many people who complain about Peavey could have the same problems with other amplifiers, they were just unlucky. My Peavey products have rarely let me down. They are well built and the only thing annoying about them was their potentiometers that were all installed through the faceplate on the early 1980-1995 models. Annoying to take the PCB out of the chassis when you have twelve pots to unscrew!

Peavey is an excellent value.
