hello, i have an ax84 p1 that i built a while back and i want to use it for bass. ive read about coverting a guiar amp to bass involving changing caps and possibly the trannie. does anyone have any info or suggestions on doing this?

What does it sound like with the bass plugged in?
It's a pretty low power amp with some distortion when turned up. Most bass players like a smoother sound and find transistor amps acceptable. It would be easy and cheap to build a small SS amp and a bit more power probably wouldn't hurt. w |
