I am looking for a Stage Piano and i tried out some like the Roland EP 880 and the Yamaha P140. I was very diapointed of the Sound. Its ok that the small internal Seakers are not abel to play loud ( how could they ) but they also sounded distorted at lower levels in the mids and highs.
Did anybody tried to change internal Stage Piano Speakers with good results ? Did anybody tried to change internal Stage Piano Speaker amplification with good results ? Bernhard |

The speakers in keyboards like that are for private practice/ composition.
Practically speaking it's would be pretty hard to get 2 small speakers to reproduce the octave span of an electric piano with much gusto. Most I know run keyboard output directly to a separate amplified monitor and D/I into the mixers. Headphones for private practice. Syd |

Yes, run the piano thriough the PA - or use a Keyboard combo if you don't have PA.

Hi,
For practise add some headphone type sockets near the speakers. Then just plug-in some half decent box speakers for far better quality. |
