I hope this is right place to put this thread, otherwise, please move it.
I'm trying to get more space in my basement, so i'm looking at my old organ which i bought for many years ago, mostly for the amplifier. But i realized that it sounds pretty nice (lot of bad contact in the keyboards though), could be something to use in my future studio (analog, i'm collecting cheap stuff to modify), modified with line input. Now to the question: Will i regret if i just keep the amp, speakers, the spring reverb and "leslie" cabinet inside and throw the rest away? Building an amplifier with line input for ie keyboard... I'm talking about 10-15 years now, i really don't wanna come to that point where i realize that i shuld have kept the organ intact... But i really need the space... Some of you know that feeling.. "why did i throw that away?????" It´s a tube amp, pretty high effect inside. Spring reverb, the spring is about 3/4 inch in diameter. Gosh, i need a barn or something! (it's not my organ on the picture, but the same model) |

Perhaps because it plays very loud at low frequencies (pedals), and the speaker is pointing right towards the chair ;-)
