Hi Folks. I have an original Yamaha DX-7 that I have used on many gigs since it was bought new in 1985. It needs the lithium battery replaced, volume slider/pots replaced, a thorough internal cleaning, contacts cleaned, etc. I need a service manual and where i can get parts online. I'm just doing it as a hobby and to learn more about servicing electronics/amps etc.
Also, I would like to 'hotrod" it, meaning putting in some expansions like an GreyMatter E kit and anything other options that might be out there. Can anyone link me up to some sources for this Thanks for any advice and help katt |
