Soldano Super Lead Overdrive (SLO) - Opinions?

We are looking at this amp to build, at least the preamp for now:

There is a forum dedicated to Soldano clones (for amps and preamps). You can find some more info there. I think it is sloclone.yesterdaysrevolt.com (or something like that).
