Hello.
I've jsut brought a Fender twin Reverb fom the states, it's siting right next to me! I need to get a step down transformer to lower the voltage to 110v. Im Just not sure what size transformer i need to get? I know the amp is 100w R.M.S, thats the output from the speakers. However it also says on the back 300w at 117v at 60 hz MY question,,, do i need to transformer that covers the 300w or the 100w?? Thanks eVAN |

You need at least 300W - valve amplifiers are incredibly inefficient - ignoring everything else the matched impedance speaker output means it wastes 100W when it outputs 100W.
