I have a copy strat body and want 2 make it in2 a telacaster (not a great speller)any help.

tele has 2 pickups, approximately where the outside pickups (1 and 3) are on the strat. tele has a different body style and the selector switch is wired differently. you may get close to the same sound as a tele, but it will definitely look like a 2 pickup version of the strat.

get a roland VG 99, this problem and many others solved.
personally i love it, the sound is many times better then the VG-8 (which was also used in many major records) |
