Getting headphone output from RCA phono plugs.

I'd like to use my headphones for games and movies, but my TV doesn't have headphone output. Is there something that I can buy or make to convert those plugs to headphone output?

It should be possible to use the wires going to the speakers on the TV to power your head phones. A cut-out can arranged so that the speakers to the TV go off when you plug in the phones.

TVs are forbidden here... see if this is allowed first. I think the mod's will let ya slide on this one.

What type of jack do have on your 'phones? Does your TV have a 3 pin power cord?

:)

We certainly don't! ;)

If your TV has phono outputs, there are plenty of very nice headphone amp circuits around.
