Hello,
i want to built my ZEN revisted and the bridge line Stage. I also want to hear with my headphone. Is this possible? And how? Greetings Hauke |
See the thread
http://www.diyaudio.com/forums/showt...p?threadid=741 for some ideas. You can either build the amp as-is and drive the headphones through resistors, or scale the amp to drive headphones. You could also build a separate buffer for your headphones. See http://www.headwize.com [Library\Projects] for lots of ideas. |
hi, .. good idea, we (Paulb and I) have discused it else were on the forum ... a 120-120 ohm resistor in series or as voltage divider would work fine for 32 ohm headphones.. I gonna put my idea's on my webpage soon.. I'll let post a forum topic when I do...... Headwize is an excelent site!!

Hey, tschrama, thanks for the tip on Circuitmaker. I'm simulating mods to the Szekeres buffer amp, it is a lot of fun.

Headphone
Hello,
i use to hear with my Sennheiser HD 600 with 300 Ohm impedance. I think this will roll off the lower frequencies, when i connect the headphone at the bride of zen. What about to connect at the zen amp? Greetings from Hamburg Hauke |
You can feed the BOZ into a "Szekeres" buffer:
http://headwize.com/projects/szeke1_prj.htm I know somebody on this forum has talked about this... To connect to the Zen amp use a dropping resistor or divider as tschrama says. p.s. Nice headphones you got there, Hauke. |
