well i just started this project lets see if i can SQUEEZE everying into this case

1 9v battery
1 led blue
1 led holder
1 headphone jack
1 power switch
1 op amp
1 cheap mints

Can we get a picture showing the inside of the case with the goodies inside? I see you are running single supply, what op-amp? Presumably a dual unit for stereo operation?

About 20 blocks from me there are two electronics parts stores, right next to each other


Amp looks nice though (switch kinda sticks out).

Considering how much some headphone amps cost, doing it yourself saved you a mint.

hahaha.... nice. yes you can use any tin that size. Altoids, penguine, etc... whatever. I actually built a 12 watt amplifier into one once.

I would also like to know what opamp you used, My cd player wont even make your ears hurt.. its not hot enough for my Sony Studio monitors ( 1 watt per earphone) and when my cd player is all the way up it distorts real bad with full bass.
