Somebody has to do it - it might as well be me. Besides, I like to complain. And, no, that is not all I do. I have been known to go outside from time to time.

Considering how much some headphone amps cost, doing it yourself saved you a mint.
hahaha.... nice. yes you can use any tin that size. Altoids, penguine, etc... whatever. I actually built a 12 watt amplifier into one once.
I would also like to know what opamp you used, My cd player wont even make your ears hurt.. its not hot enough for my Sony Studio monitors ( 1 watt per earphone) and when my cd player is all the way up it distorts real bad with full bass.
