When I recased my Dynalo I accidentally reversed the polarity - fed -15v with +15 and +15 with -15.

The transistors (TC071cp) smoked. When I wired it correctly one transistor still smoked but all the leds came on. Is there anything else that could have been damaged apart from the 2 transistors?

Wondering whether it's worth repairing, if it's just the transistors (TC071cp) I guess it is.

Hoping someone with more knowledge than me will know what has been damaged..

I suggest to replace the damaged transistors first, then measure the voltages across different resistors according to the construction guide and check if something wrong.

Thank-you for this edwtsui, I replaced the transistors and seems to be ok now, will do some testing and checking to make sure.
