Need help to fix headphone amp near SF

Anyone near SF ,Daly City this side of the bridge who is a tech-hobbyist who can help me fix a tube TU-882 headphone amp for a reasonable amount? It can be replaced for about $250 probably so if I can't get it fixed there are similar amps for under $200 but I really liked this amp. I don't really have diagnostic skills and have no variac, scope or generator at this time. Did something very stupid when changing some caps and ruined it. Thanks, ShortAS

Shoot some pics of the damage and give us some more info. I work in San Bruno during the week and might be able to assist if it needs it. Sadly I don't have a scope however.

Another option would be in one of the facebook Bay area audio groups, I know we have a handful of dudes out your way.

Thanks for the suggestions. There is nothing to see. It may be damaging tubes upon start up. A scope and a variac is needed for this, iMO. ShortAS
