Hi,
in my CDP there seems to be one NE5532 for each channel of the headphone amp. Can they deliver enough current or is this distorting nonsense ? Bernhard |

depends on what you're plugging into them
on what you listen to, and what your clipping tolerance is check out the FAQs and articles on HeadWize.com in a reply on another good headphone forum i recently addressed some relevant issues: http://www5.head-fi.org/forums/showt...threadid=61977 you can decide for yourself how far into the deep end you want to go, both forums discuss 1 A output stage buffers for headphones with 50 - 80 mW rated power! |
