Just finished R N Marsh amp.
My thought - do not save coins on parts and components for that amp, because while completed, that amp will pay you with the probably best sound that solid state technology can to deliver.
🙂 I took me about 2 years and $2000 in parts (mostly transistors) to get it right. But I have a Lot of test equipment to evaluate devices and determines which ones meet my criteria. (curve tracers, noise analyzers, FFt, THD, scopes etc... including AP 2722 and ShibaSoku 725D). Even so, you have to have the best amp topology, as well. Glad you appreciate the great sound... surprised even myself with what highly accurate sound is like.
BTW - you can run the supply up higher without problems if you need more output voltage.
