I don't quite follow what you are asking here.
Yes, headphone terminations (2.5, 3.5 and 6.3mm plugs) are standard. I don't see where the inverting amp bit comes in. If you want to preserve phase then you would have to separate the wires to the headphone drivers noting how they were originally connected, and then reverse the wiring.
