Default o2 flush gain switch?

Not sure if this is the correct place to ask this, but here goes.
I want to replace the gain switch on my O2 amp for one that is approx flush with the faceplate or even recessed.
Is it possible?
Would any of the more experienced than me, be able to suggest a suitable replacement part?
I do believe it is a sensible mod, considering how infrequently most will need the extra gain and the pain involved when you don't realise your kid has been pushing buttons.

The gain switch has a notch around the shaft. You could snip the shaft there with some flush cutters. The button wouldn't fit on the shaft anymore, but the shaft would be flush with the front when out. You could use the point of a pen to push it in and out. If you are using one of the standard drilled panels though the hole around the shaft would still be sized for the button - pretty large. Maybe a circle of tape could be placed over the hole, with a small hole in the center just big enough for a pen point.
