Default Current source in diamond buffer

When adding current buffer for a diamond buffer instead of a resistor, do i need to closely match the current source between rails? And does low noise jfet like 2sk170 have better performance here or whatever like 2k246, 2n5484, 2sk30 ... will do the job?

10% of mismatch is fine. It is not as important.
Noise is does not really matter that much, especially is buffer will be inside a feedback loop.
As an alternative you can use a bootstrap. It works good if you have regulated or relatively stable power supplies.
Also you can somewhat modify buffer connecting collectors of the front pair to the emitters of the opposite output transistors. In this case it will work like Baxandall super pair. It will make a buffer somewhat more linear and will decrease and keep constant power dissipation of the front transistors.
Another thing to consider. If you are going to use it inside a feedback loop, like with opamp etc, it can be useful to add two small capacitors from the input of the buffer to the bases of the output transistors. It may slightly compensate a phase lag, which is always good in this application. Although it is not a universal mod. Result will depend a lot on transistors types and bias currents.
