I'm busy building Jeff Macaulay's valve headphone amp featured in Elektor magazine, the pcb should be ready soon.

I also had a standalone PCB layout for this guy A version of an O2 Desktop Amp (ODA) Even with digikey PN BOM. Not a big deal for me to share.

Ah, the good ol' PA2V2. Now there's a common recommendation from back in the day when I was still active on Head-Fi. Given the performance data of the LM4881, I doubt it'll be any better than what you already have though. Well, the output coupling caps are probably bigger, and output impedance is low. Plus I'm sure it'll last forever and a day (which is more than one can say about many a product these days). Distortion performance is unlikely to be particularly awesome though. It hardly counts as bleeding edge either (unlike requested in first post), as it came out about 8 years ago now.

This would be my first amp! I wanted it to be good construction and I think I made a good guess on that one. I thought about CmoyBB but I am not a big fan of the case. As for quality of sound, I hope is going to be an improvement from a non powered device. Will post when it arrives

Thanks!!
