Default OPA2132/4 for headphones

Hi everyone
I have a USB sound card that uses a NJM4556 for the heaphone channel.
I was wondering if I can put a OPA2134 or OPA2132 in there, I have some of those chips. Or maybe they don't supply enough current to drive headphone? will those chips improve that channel?

I used those chips and they were nice to hear. Just try if it improves. If not, get back to NJM

They should be fine. The OPA2132 was the suggested chip for the original Chu Moy (CMoy) headphone amp which has been built in the thousands by now.

The njm4556 is quite ok. It was used by Grado for their own headphones amplifier. If you use low impedance headphones, it's better in my experience than the opa2134. If you have high impedance ones, either is fine.
