Hi everybody!
I want to replace the jack plug of my Logitech Ultimate Ears 350s. I already removed the faulty plug and some of the insulation and found 4 cables (red, green, blue, copper) wrapped around fibre and some seperate yellow fibre. Does the yellow fibre do anything and does it affect soldering? Other than that I assume that the red cable is for the right, the green cable for the left channel and the blue and copper cables for the ground? I just wanted to check with somebody who knows about that stuff before I start soldering. ![]() Thanks for you help! PS: I also attached a picture of the cable. Couldnt get my camera to focus properly though.
