Tone Stack with 2 knobs and switches
I want to build a portable headphone amplifier with LM4562. The main problem is that I need a tone stack on the amp, but the space for the knobs are very limited. On the face of the case I can place the input&output jacks and 2 pots and some switches. The input&output knobs will be implemented using a a 6 pin DIN socket and 2 external cables that will have the input jack and output jack. I will also have a crossfeed circuit, that I would power on using a switch.
So...I would need a tone stack(not Baxandall) with 1(max 2 knobs) and 1-2 switches. The switches can be on-off type or on-off-on type with two modes.
Thread moved to appropriate area.
A while back I built a Tilt Eq, with single pot/no switches, and it served its purpose pretty well - compensating for bright-sounding headphones.
Heres some good info.
BUT I had to play with its center freq (SIP-socketed caps) to tweak it, e.g. switching amongst a couple/few values would've added flexibility.
