Little help please

can somebody please tell me why this does not work. It works but sounds like junk very noisy and scrachy.

I am trying to learn and built this on a proto board.

Hello.

Make your circuit traces as wide as possible, keep your capacitors as close as possible to your IC's and try not to "T" any runs (always in and out of any connection). You might want to look into "star grounding"
P.S
I hate square corners.
And keep your connections as short as possible.
Balance all these and you will know why there is still some art in PC board designing.

This had nothing to do with trying to make a PCB. I used reg board at radioshack qnd built this with wires and it did not work. It was clean solder job and short wires. But the question still stands why did this not work.

You've got and extra 10K resistor in each output, IC pin 1 goes straight to the jack but yours goes via a 10K Resistor same on the other side

I'm having trouble reading your schematic. The Atari look is throwing me. Anyway, it appears to me that you should study opamp feedback loops and redesign this. That's if I'm reading this right because I'm not seeing one.

I gave up on the rail splitter virtual ground and made this and it does not work either. Real fustratating. Remember I am just using solder and wires on a radio shack board for now. Any inputs on this one before I throw it away also? Brown is just grounds to the tin it will go in.

Your VG from the resistor divider is not connected to the V ground on the rest of the circuit
