Question Will HD580 headband cushion fit HD650?

I can't seem to locate any replacement headband cushions for the HD650.

Does anyone here know if the headband cushion for the HD580 (or any other headband) can be used as a replacement for the HD650 one?

OK, OK, I know you've all been waiting with bated breath for the answer to this. Well, here it is.

For the curious, here's what you need to order:

HD580, 600 Ear cushions: Part number 050635
HD580 Headband cushion: Part number 052715

Here's a video that explains how to replace the headband cushion:

Sennheiser HD-580 Headband pad repair

The ear cushions are just a press fit. Tug on them, and they pop out easily.

I was able to find both these items on the Sennheiser website.

So the HD600 and HD650 are in fact compatible as has been assumed. Good to know.

JFTR, HD650 headband pads are part #088597. I'd prefer these if you're not planning on cutting some foam and taping it on yourself (the pad area remains quite narrow regardless of which stock pad you use, though I think the '650 pad makes the most of it).

And yes, '600s and '650s are mechanically compatible. Pads, drivers and cables also fit the old HD5x5 series that was around in the '90s.
