Default Matching Transformers for 8R Speakers

Just wondering if anyone has had experience or know of transformers that can take an 8R speaker output (of say a tube amp) and step it up to say 120R or 300R, suitable for driving headphones?

Would it be say possible for a 1W tube amp to have a transformer to step it up from 8R to 300R for headphones? Or am I better getting a custom transformer that has a 300R tap?

Can I use this matching transformer MT128 (http://www.icl.co.jp/audio/english/k-mt.htm) to achieve this? Connect 8R tap to the amp and the 128R tap to the headphones?
